Metro 1 North v Footscray
Footscray had a quick start to the game and scored a goal off an early short corner. The T-Birds settled down and fought hard to try and level the score. Fi went forward and had an immediate impact, having a shot on goal; unfortunately it didn’t get past Footscray’s last line of defence.
Half time 1 nil down.Footscray continued to attack and was awarded numerous short corners.
On the attack Anna received the ball after a fast break and had a fantastic shot on goal – unfortunately the Footscray goalie did a great save to deny the T-Birds a goal.
