Mens M3N v PEGS
The Kew 7ths desperately needed another win to get our season back on track. Last time we played PEGS we were a few short, however this time we fielded a full side.
Kew dominated the game from the very beginning, having several opportunities to score.
The first goal came late in the first half when one of our junior recruits put it in off the keepers pads. With the score being only 1-0 at half time we knew there was still alot of hockey to be played.
We came out firing with Matt Dirico putting a shot in from a penalty corner. Another corner resulted in a goal off the pads. However PEGS were able to get one back after kew failed to clear the ball allowing PEGS to slip one in under our goalie Ian as he went down. However we were able to score once more leaving the match at 4-1.
