Womens M3S v Casey Elimination Final
Metro 3 South played Casey in our first semi final. K.E.W. were the better team by far but we couldn’t put the ball in the net. Our forwards would get the ball in the attacking 25 yard line time and time again but could not goal. In the second half we netted the ball, to the cheering of our spectators, but the goal was disallowed by an umpire who should have a white stick and a seeing eye dog!At full time the score was nil to both teams. In extra time we hit the golden goal in the first two minutes. The goal was hit by Jess Wilson who deserved it as she had taken the ball up to the circle some many times but could not capitalise.
K.E.W. South play Doncaster next week at 12.00 noon at Yarra Valley Grammar School.  We should beat them and advance to the Grand Final. All spectators are more than welcome.
