Women’s PB v MCC
Kew 1 def MCC 0
Our newly appointed German coach, Hans debuts in winning style, his English is improving and now knows how to say ‘get on the post’ and has been apart of winning rendition of the cumber though still needs to be taught the words so he can join in with the girls. The girls now know the German word for cone, ‘Hütchen’ so things are going well and training drills should progress without any translation required.
Our defence was held up by our new goalkeeper Caitlan Nash who was supported by Chels and Scarlett at full back. An experienced Myers and Miling held up the half line with a young Sophie who played her first women’s game. Lucy and Katie G ran over the MCC defence with support from Mel, Charlotte and Bambi though it was Tina’s quick skills that was able to put the goal in after the ball rebounded of the keeper.
Great work from the girls, always good to beat an ex Kew player who joined MCC also! Great effort by Hans, Mel, Chels and Scarlett who partied on at the harp in true Kew form in full 80′s gear!
Goals: Tina Brullo
