WIN v Werribee 3-0

Kew looked the fitter side from the outset (to put it nicely) so went into the game with the tactic of using our speed to win the ball. The tactic worked well, with the forwards running rings around the Werribee defence and having 18 circle penetrations in the first half.

 

Em managed to sneakily pop the ball over the line for Kew’s first goal and Isabella got Kew’s 2^nd goal, both in the 1^st half. Kew continued to dominate in the 2^nd half, with Vanessa again showing her strength in the centre and getting Kew’s 3^rd goal from a great short corner hit into the left post.

 

The backs had a boring day with not a lot to do, with the halves not letting many balls through all day. The T-Birds are back in winning form and ready to beat Knox next weekend!
