Women’s M1N v Knox (R4)
The T-Birds were hungry and ready to score after their first win for the season last week. Knox kept trying to get the ball to their scoring end but with some great tackles Kew took the ball off them with the determination to win two weeks in a row.
The most determined of all was Fi Allen, who with her hunger to score, prepared for a massive shot on goal only to let her stick fly up in the air almost off the ground.
Kew had the ball in their half of the field the majority of the time, but towards the end it was like watching a game of tennis, with the ball repeatedly going from one end to the other with both teams at nil all for most of the game.
With not even five minutes left, Knox finally managed to score a goal. Kew was awarded a penalty corner at full time, but could not manage to score a goal.
