Women’s PB v StK Powerhouse (R7)

This week the 2′s melded together, were starting to know what out teammates play like on the field and also off field likes and dislikes.

Thanks to an informative Thursday at training we now know Mel has a dislike a for running the same paths and Myers is scared of people in masks, though this was not useful for how we were going win against St Kilda Powerhouse .

Anyway back onto the game, it was a tough match, the umpires were heard after the game commenting on how even the game was and the ball movement was quick, even said to be a much better match than the WSl2 game.

Their comments were true, the game was an even match and the ball movement was quick. The 2′s defense was under pressure with StKilda Powerhouse wings playing very high, well done Soph and Tina in marking up. Myer and Chels were in the zone squashing any entry into the circle, though when we failed Caitlin our goalkeeper stepped up and saved a heap having an awesome match.

Lucy and Katie our inners played well and linked in well the wings, Charlotte had some fast paced runs up the wing and StKilda Powerhouse were taken by surprise. Half time and Hans had lots to say and then scurried off to his Bbq. Matt Morrow took over the coaching and helped up keep the game at 0-0. Not quite a win but at least 1 point.
