T-Birds Vs WerribeeÂ
Having travelled to a ground which seemed like the middle of nowhere the T-birds were keen to start the match and warm up from the chilly wind.  However they were a little concerned with only 10 players 5 minutes from the start of the game, but luckily “Nic†turn up arrived for the start of the battle.
 The T-birds controlled the match with the ball rarely going into the defensive half. Due to the T-birds relentless advances we were awarded numerous short corners, however were unable to convert.
 In the second half Werribee had more of the ball, but the T-bird defence stood up well and ensured none of the short corners were converted. The T-birds continued to attack the goals but could not put a score on the board. Final score – nil all draw.
