Men’s SL2 v Dandenong (R17)
The Dandenong Warriors traveled down to the home of hockey (Elgar Park) on the weekend, for a fiery rematch to decide who would get the crucial forth spot to play finals.
First time around the Warriors got the points in a season defining loss for Kew, through the second half of the yr Kew has remained undefeated ( 2 draws) climbing its way up the ladder.
Getting off to a 1 goal lead within the first ten minutes set the tempo for the rest of the day.
With strong and decisive ball movement Kew were able expose the warriors through the midfield and underneath them at the back.
A solid performance from Jimmy J Grant up forward, created many scoring opportunities.
Michael “Blazer ” Heaven continued his good form out at left half, and Matthew Gale looked at home when put into CH late in the game.
Final Result 6 – 1 victory to Kew.
