Womens M1N v Hawthorn (R3)
The Women’s 3rds played Hawthorn on Saturday night with a disappointing result that did not reflect the game. Missing key players, the Kew girls took the field in many foreign positions. From the beginning Hawthorn dominated the play but our backs, Jacquie and Kelly, managed to prevent a further number of goals from being scored by the opposition. Kew had a number of near misses for goal which would have improved the final score but unfortunately near misses don’t count!
We look forward to the normal team returning next week and players returning to their usual positions on the field.
