KEW Juniors State Representatives
KEW Hockey Club is very pleased to congratulate the following KEW players who have recently been selected to represent Victoria at the forthcoming National Championships.
Gilbert Hassall (Under 13); Stephen Gale (Under 15) and Sophie Carolan-Lane (Under 16 State Schoolgirls Team).
Best wishes to each of them. We are certain that Gil, Stephen and Sophie will do us proud as they represent their State and their Club at these Championships.
Isabella Hassall was also selected as a “Train – On” for the Under 15 Girls State Team, a great effort in her first year of Under 15′s.
Andrew Gale has also recently returned from China, where he represented Australia in the Under 16 Schoolboys Team. Along the way, Andrew picked up a ‘best on ground’ as well as a pretty good stomach bug!
Andrew also performed strongly for Victoria in the Under 18′s, held earlier this year.
Our congratulations are also extended to Anthea Rankin, Sophie Hird, Chelsie Hird and Sarah Chancellor-Goddard, who made the U13 and U15 State Squads, after the Junior State Championships.
Also well done to Johnny Kambelos and Eliza Berryman, who made the last selection stage of the Victorian Under 12 Primary Schools State team.
