Gale Force for Victoria
KEW Hockey Club would like to congratulate both Andrew and Stephen Gale on selection in 2011 Victorian U18 team.
Andrew, or “Bluey” as he’s generally known, has made the team for the second year running. In the last two years he has made the U16 Australian team and the U18 Australian Development squad, where he attended the Ric Charlesworth development camp.
Stephen has made the team for the first time, astonishingly as just a U16, meaning he will probably have three years in the side. He was the Captain of the Victorian U15 team last year when he also broke into the KEW State League side for the first time.
Both boys will appear in the KEW State League side for 2011 and will be key players in the next phase of the club’s ambition.
