Women’s PB v StK PH (R16)

Well, 6:30 on Saturday night, another tough match and also at a really bad time!
While the rest of the club ventured to trivia we ventured to play against Powerhouse St Kilda, we had the bare 11 against a team that seemed to have an endless bench of fast forwards.

Women’s PB v Hawthorn (R12)

MUST WIN GAME
As far as games go this year, this was the most important.  To win this game could help avoid relegation.  So the big guns were brought in.  Lisa Stewart and Katie James.  The theme for the day, ‘FRIENDLY PASSES’; make a pass that you would like to receive.  Flat and fast.

Women’s PB v MCC (R10)

The team inclusions this week included Ange, Kirsten, Speedy Jess Wilson and Kath Dyson back into the side. The stakes where high, a must win against MCC who were 2 points below us on the ladder.

This week we needed a win, playing against a lower team on the ladder it was a must win game. Within the first 10 minutes Footscray scored. The 2’s began to switch on after this and fought hard. But once again leading into half time Footscray scored again!

Women’s PB v Essendon (R8)

The women’s 2’s ventured to the game on Saturday to a freezing Essendon, it was a rough game, we started with 10 and then were able to put our DS Alyson on 15 minutes later. To make matters worse Kath Dyson got sent off for an unknown reason, when later questioning why, the delightful umpire said [...]
