Metro 1 North v Footscray
Footscray had a quick start to the game and scored a goal off an early short corner. The T-Birds settled down and fought hard to try and level the score. Fi went forward and had an immediate impact, having a shot on goal; unfortunately it didn’t get past Footscray’s last line of defence. Tweet

The mighty T-Birds outplayed the league leaders Yarra Valley at their home ground and won the 2007 Grand Final 1-0. Well done on a fighting performance and a result that was truly deserved! Tweet
