SELECTION PROCESS AND POLICY 2011

Selection Process

The coaches will select teams through discussion and consultation either in person or by email. Teams will be decided by Wednesday and then forwarded to the Chairman of Selectors.

The teams will then be sent by email to all players and posted on the website by Thursday lunchtime. The Chairman is not responsible for making selections but rather to ensure an appropriate process takes place.

Players are to assume they will be in the same team as the previous week. They will be notified personally if they are selected in a different team. Injured players also need to keep their coach informed.

Unavailability

If a player is unavailable for an upcoming round, she is responsible to communicate this to the club prior to Tuesday when selections are conducted. You should personally inform your coach and complete an online form which will summarise all the unavailable players for the selectors.
